Ha ha, indeed. Working on my next animation assignment and THIS is all I shall show for now! :D . *teaser* It will be AWEsome. Wish I could show it now, but it is nothing by key frames and roughs, unfortunately ): . You will have to wait a couple of weeks. Until then, sit tight! (:

Dancing Flame and Smoke

Took me while to get this animation done, but I got a wondrous 90% on the assignment. Docked marks for labeling and such but meh, it still looks awesome (: . I'm not one for loving the technical work behind it all, but the animation itself is intense, challenging, but fun. Enjoy! Tis all I have for at least until next week.

Oh Wow! Animation.. And Such

Ha ha.. OH, I think I'm all caught up with uploading my animations (: . I got a couple more here ready to roll. Once I get the assignment I working on here done and shot (not telling you what it is (; ) in a couple of days, then I'll put that one up! Excellent. As well as adding animation, I've got some more character designs. Very nice.

This first one is my stationary seaweed. The class had to make an ordinary seaweed flow back and forth in the waves underwater. We pretty much had the frames given to us, so it was a nice assignment.

Here is a step up from the previous assignment: traveling seaweed!.. Honestly, don't ask why a piece of seaweed who moved across the ocean floor like this :P . By all accounts, it makes no sense. But it was practice for movement I suppose. And cartoons don't have to make sense! :P

Finally, we come to the character design! The assignment was to research then draw your classic cowboy, outlaw, and damsel in distress. I had fun with these, especially.. well, all of them, ha ha. Guess I don't have a favorite. I really liked how the damsel turned out (form, dress, expression, etc.) as well as my slobbish cowboy. Poor horse :P ..

Alrighty *phew*. Now to get back to finishing my current animation assignment. (Only 5 more frames to clean up (: ! ). Hope you enjoyed my work posted today and are excited for more in a couple of days (; .

Something New

Oh my! And now we have moved onto something new in Character Design Class: three-sided shapes! O: Amazing.. ish. It's cool and all, but not entirely my cup of tea :/ . *shrugs* I'll learn to live.

Anywho, the assignment was to draw (with simple three-sided shapes only) a rabbit, shark, and an eagle. I was pretty pleased to be working with animals, because I thoroughly enjoy drawing animals (: . This assignment was a little difficult to work with my enjoyment, however.. The shark was probably the most annoying to me, especially the tail. Even in the pic now, it could be better. That and I could've pushed my silhouette.. but damn. Can only do so much. Actually making them look like they are was challenging enough.

*sigh* And so, thus concludes my uploads for today... maybe the moment. I will be trying to get around to making my animations work .avi-style.. REALLY want to show those :D . Til then..

WAY Behind Schedule Here..

Gomen nasai and many apologies, I don't have a good enough excuse, but I haven't been able to update this site in a while. But no worries, I got a new batch of stuff to show!

Starting with a couple of layout assignments (you.. probably won't see too many of these on here :P . I don't know why..) This picture probably has little to no significance, but I just had to paste my hobo in a box here. Also, I've got my haunted house here. Both involved practice with inclined planes.

These next three were a lot of fun to do (you don't even have to guess, it's pretty well known that Character Design class is my favorite class :D ). The assignment was to draw three out of a handful of stereotypical Halloween icons. I chose a vampire, witch, and Frankenstein. Pardon the lines and such. We had to pick out details and rules of each picture. Too lazy to photoshop it and make it look nice Frankenstein is probably my favorite out of the three :P ..

After creating those drawings, the class when then assigned to take our three characters and transform them into trick-or-treaters (children). I found it enjoyable making them into small kiddie forms. The shapes and costumes were fun to work with. I adore the witch girl, her and her oversized witch hat, ha ha.

That's all I have for now. Hope you enjoyed the sights, tune in next.... *sigh* maybe month... when I upload some more treasures :P . Ciao~
