  Yup, that has been the essence of my last few days... not feeling up to sketching. Stupid nose. Stupid recovery. Anywho, here are some doodles.~

Baby Doll

   So I had the magical brainstorm today about adding a skill to my drawing style.... porcelain dolls! :O Crazy, I know :P . So I spent a good part of my day drawing doll lips 'cause they're cute and smooth. Plus, this gave me some more life study practice. Bonus! (:
  (Most of my practice was done in my sketch book which I will scan and submit at a later date.)

After The Operation...

   Sorry for the absence. I've recently had some nose surgery so I've been feelin' groggy, tired, and nose is in pain. Yuck. So here are some sketches. I'll try to get something better up soon when I can get the strength.

I'm Back

  Yes, it was a long week, mainly occupied by me being in BC and attending the masterclass there with the ever-awesome Bobby Chiu :D . So good, so inspiring. He even signed my sketchbook~

  Anywho, here is some x-mas fun. It's going to be the last of this style for a while, though (besides my random sketchbook posts). I'm going to do some more life study stuff. Stay tuned!

Fun News

   Well this kind if perked my day up. My old employer for one of the children's e-books that I illustrated sent me an email today saying that later today that book was going up online and being sold officially. Sweet!    Ok, so I got ask to draw this as a test to send off to a mobile game company. If all is pleasing, then they will get back to me and I will be able to do some concept work for them (: . Exciting! I think it turned out well. Very clean. I also added my process of flushing this piece out. Creating the pose itself was the most annoying. As well, trying to not make her too human-like or too plant like. Finding the balance is key ;) .
