*yawn*

Yea. Bored and continually nodding off in class, what a fail am I... Anywho, just randomly decided to put up a couple of pictures during class. These are both cleaned up and coloured on the computer (evidently) so they're a little more important than the norm.

WHAT!?

This week's traditional animation assignment was kinda enjoyable. Not only creating the concept, but even the frames that I drew that you have to pause to see, cuz it moves so fast, ha ha. Basically, it was just making an animation take, moving a character from one pose to another with anticipation, expression, etc. I like my animation because he just looks so cute in the beginning then just freaks out on whoever is watching him going "Awww...". S'tough being cute all the time, y'know? :P

Yes, that's right. That ever-growing collection of pics from my sketch book will now be presented on my blog! There is a lot, so brace yourself, ha ha.

Aghh! Zombie!!..... Boy.

Another flash assignment. Second one of the year here. Basically just had to make this boy walk, but I edited the symbols in the character and gave him a limpy walk, ha ha. Brains!

MARvelous Curtains..

Yeah, played a bit with the title of the MARvelous Mad Madame Mim and worked it into the my project's name, ha ha. It has been a while since my last update. I do have a good stack of sketchbook drawings on my computer, but they still need to be edited, and to do that, I have to obtain a good pirated copy of Photoshop. One day...

Anywho, the assignment for the past few weeks was to animate curtains opening, because the knowledge one gains from this is essential in animating things such as hair or capes. I think I did okay, just that some of the lines wiggle near the end, but YOU try making it look perfect after cleaning up that mess :P ..

Swing, Kid, SWING!

Another lovely animation assignment: working with silhouette. Basically, we were told to animate almost anything we wanted as long as it was 96 frames long (4 seconds?) and it had to be filled in with black (sharpie marker). The idea was to identify what was going on with our animation without all the flashy details. So naturally I chose a kid trying to battle with a giant sword to slice a random floating blob (which inevitably ends with humourous results). Bon appetite~

Back to school... back to school.....

Hello once more. Back in school and running about again. Here's my first animation assignment of the year, 3/4 walk cycle. I created an Amazon chick with a saucy-looking attitude. I notice small problems with it now even as it's completed, but I just finished it off and put it aside. It's due tomorrow morning. I've been so bus with work and moving stuff that I've lost a lot of school work time so I figure I'll be fine enough. I'll laugh if I get a good mark on it :P .
