Character Design II - Lesson 1 [Character Design Review]

So! I haven spent good money once more at the amazing Schoolism.com and am currently enrolled in Character Design II with Stephen Silver (Hurrah!) I am very excited that he made another more advanced class for one of my most favorite things in the world: character designing! Here is my submission for Lesson One, just a basic review on character designing and working with the Golden Mean and what not. I always feel so rusty on the first assignments :P ...

Paintings for a Friend

So... these took quite a while, but they are finally finished! I hope you enjoy (: !

Fretting

I got struck by inspiration and painted this fair lady (: .

Kowai!! Run, Birdie, Run!

A late Character Design Shuffle Friday Challenge image. I think I have a thing with challenges... =P

The Final Verdict: Delicious!

So I hopped on to the Character Design Shuffle facebook group/app and the random selection I got was:

Character : Hummingbird
Gender : Female
Outfit : Judge
Action : Fishing
Body Type : Average
Expression : Amazed

And so.. voila! (:

Skull Critter

Trying new techniques/approaches.... with one of my many skull creatures.

Phantom Brat

I thought I'd mess around with a bit of Painter and a bit of Photoshop for this little ghoul. ( :

"Too cute to be taken seriously! Hrmph!"
